(WXYZ) - I've talked with several jurors who took three days to decide Jeffery Pyne was guilty of Second Degree Murder. First Degree Murder was ruled out on the first day of deliberations.

Now, one juror confirms she doubts the guilty verdict. That alone will not win an appeal, but we talked with an expert who said the family does have grounds.

Judge Leo Bowman commented about an appeal during his sentencing last week. This is a mission for Bernie Pyne whose wife Ruth was murdered.

He spoke with me after his last visit with Jeffrey in the Oakland County Jail.

Jeffrey was moved to Jackson for state prison intake to start his minimum 20 years in prison.
