(WXYZ) - The frantic search for a woman who was seen in a sexually explicit video forcing a child to perform sexual acts has been found.
Homeland Security sources tell 7 Action News she was arrested sometime Thursday.
Earlier this week, U.S. officials were asking for the public’s help to identify the woman who they said was producing child pornography.
Investigators said the woman is believed to have produced at least one child pornography video featuring herself and a 4 to 5-year-old victim. Agents believed she lived somewhere in the United States.
William Hayes is the special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations for Michigan and Ohio. He says they got a tip from Danish authorities after they downloaded the horrific video off the web at the end of November.
Homeland Security said their computer experts were tracing the video down and they asked for the public's help.
Homeland Security officials described the female as 23 to 29 years old with a medium build, brown hair with blond highlights and hazel/green eyes.
