Driver crashes into utility pole, causes outages in Warren

(WXYZ) - Thousands of homes were without power Thursday morning after a driver slammed into a utility pole in Warren.

The accident happened Wednesday night causing power outages and closing Hoover Road at Martin.

The road has since reopened and power outage numbers are back to normal range.

Witnesses tell 7 Action News a woman's car hit a utility pole and fish-tailed into a retaining wall along the perimeter of an apartment complex.

Warren police have not confirmed whether or not the driver sustained any injuries.
