HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - After a six-month undercover investigation, Highland Park police raided the adult bookstore known as World Wide News.
On Thursday, Highland Park's Special Response Team executed a search warrant at the business with the help of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Police say prostitution and illegal sex acts were taking place in back rooms of the store.
Investigators say the business has been on Woodward in Highland Park for at least a decade, but now the building has been condemned.
Police say they're still trying to get to the bottom of who owns the business.
Investigators say two employees, a man and a woman were questioned, but no charges have been filed yet in the case.
They say they are still investigating.
