(WXYZ) - An Amber Alert that was issued for a 2-year-old boy has been canceled after the toddler was found safe.
Michigan State Police issued the alert after little Jarren Jackson was reportedly taken from a vehicle in Washtenaw County.
The child was believed to be in extreme danger.
The child was reportedly taken from his parents whose vehicle had broken down on Whittaker Road about 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
A very limited description was given of the suspect, but he was described as a white man about 5 feet 10 inches tall - unknown clothing at this time. Police say he was driving a rusted old red pickup. He was last seen driving northbound on Whittaker Road from Willis in Augusta Township.
