(WXYZ) - Judge Nancy Edmunds has sentenced Bobby Ferguson to 21 years in federal prison in his corruption case.
A jury convicted Ferguson and his friend, former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, on racketeering, bribery and other charges in March.
Ferguson's wife and daughter were present at his sentencing.
Kilpatrick was sentenced to 28 years in prison on Thursday. F ederal prosecutors had asked that the judge sentence Ferguson to between 14 and 28 years.
