(WXYZ) - Xerox confirms that the Bridge Card and food stamp program is back up after computer problems caused outages in multiple states.
We received numerous reports from 7 Action News viewers who reported that their Bridge Cards were not working earlier today.
After speaking with the state, WIC and SNAP were having computer issues and were unavailable to those enrolled in the program.
This is not related to the government shutdown, according to the state.
The State of Michigan reports other states are on the same federal system that was experiencing a computer problem.
