(WXYZ) - A recall has been issued for 119,000 CareBears Pacifiers because the company says they could pose a choking hazard to children.
The pacifiers were sold at various stores nationwide from October 2009 through June 2012.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the separate pieces of the pacifier can break apart.
The commission is advising consumers to take the pacifier away from infants immediately.
Consumers can contact the IDM Group LLC at (212) 686-5221 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday for information on how to return the product and receive a full refund.
