(WXYZ) - Eastpointe police say a man tried to lure a young girl into his car on Monday.
A 7th grader had taken the bus home from Kelly Middle School and gotten off near Veronica and Redmond. She was walking home when she says a man in a blue car pulled up, asked if she wanted a ride, then reportedly told her to get in his car.
He then reportedly put his hands down his pants and the girl ran home.
Police say they are looking for an African American man around 20 years old with a mustache and braids. The girl told police the man was driving an older model blue Pontiac Grand Prix with a broken driver's side window.
If you have any information regarding the incident, call Eastpointe police.
