(WXYZ) - Detroit police say they were searching a house on Ardmore as part of a stolen car investigation when they discovered a significant marijuana grow operation in the basement.
Police say they also found stolen cars with switched vin numbers from other vehicles. The cars were allegedly being sold on Craig's List.
Police arrested three people in connection with the operation, two people at the house and another at a separate location.
Narcotics officers confiscated the drugs, which they say was worth around half a million dollars on the street.
