OXFORD, Mich. (WXYZ) - Meijer is issuing an alert to customers regarding possible contamination of diesel fuel that was sold at one of their locations.
The contaminated diesel fuel was only sold at the Oxford location on Lapeer Road. The fuel may have been contaminated with unleaded gasoline.
Meijer says during fuel deliver unleaded fuel was mistakenly added to diesel fuel.
If you purchased diesel fuel from Sunday July 14 through Tuesday, July 16 - you are asked to call 1-800-543-3704.
According to records, 89 customers were affected.
