(WXYZ) - Detroit police say two men carjacked a couple at the Greektown parking garage on Friday.
The two suspects apparently carjacked a small car at a gas station at I-375 and Jefferson. Then they drove a few blocks over to the Greektown parking garage, dumped it and then decide to carjack a husband and wife visiting here from Italy.
Police say they assaulted the husband while the wife was able to bail out of the vehicle as they were driving away.
Police say the couple is being checked out by doctors and are helping to identify two young men who were arrested after the incident.
Officials at Greektown Casino and Hotel declined to comment on the case but say they are working with police including providing surveillance video.
