DETROIT (WXYZ) - A judge at 36th District Court in Detroit evacuated her courtroom after a man was spotted with bed bugs crawling on him.

A bailiff spotted the crawlers on a man accompanying a witness in the court room. Once the judge was notified, she had the man removed and then decided that everyone should leave the court room.

The man’s daughter told officials he may have a bed bug problem at home.

A Detroit pest company was called in to spray, bringing along a bed-bug sniffing dog.
