Deadly motorcycle accident under investigation in Hartland

(HARTLAND, Mich.) - A deadly motorcycle accident shut down traffic for several hours late Wednesday night in Hartland.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on southbound US-23 between Clyde Road and M-59.

The victim's identity has not been released.

Police are investigating what caused the motorcyclist to lose control.

No other vehicles were involved.

Traffic has since reopened in the area.
