Dense fog causing delays at Metro Airport

ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Today's foggy weather is affecting travel in and out of Metro Airport.
Right now the airport is being reported to have moderate to significant delays due to the fog.
The delays are mostly affecting departing flights. However some arrivals are also being affected as well.
A number of flights are also being listed as canceled.
It is recommended you check with your airline before heading to the airport, as the fog is expected to remain in place into the afternoon.
