(WXYZ) - A very prestigious award was given to a Detroit entrepreneur and business leader on Thursday.
The Consul of Mexico presented Frank Venegas Junior with the Ohtli Award.
This award recognizes people of Mexican descent living outside of the country for work that benefits younger generations.
In 1917 Venegas' grandparents emigrated from Mexico to Detroit. His grandfather worked at the Ford River Rouge plant and his grandmother ran a restaurant.
