Detroit parents have a chance to learn more about how to enroll their children in the metro area's highest-performing schools.
The first of three Excellent Schools Parent School Shopper Fairs will be held today (January 29, 2011) from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Fellowship Chapel. That's located at 7707 West Outer Drive.
Two other workshops will be held:
February 5 - WOW Church and Life Center, 14111 E. 7 Mile (Eastside)
February 12 - Our Lady Queen of Angels, 4200 Martin Street (Southwest)
Parents will have access to information tables, presentations and workshops.
The Parent Fairs showcase the metro area's top 46 elementary, middle and high schools identified by Excellent Schools Detroit's recently published 2011 School Report Card: The Best and Worst Results for Detroit Students.
