(WXYZ) - Detroit Police say an officer was injured when he was struck by a vehicle while making a routine traffic stop.
The incident happened near Russell and Alfred at Eastern Market around 9:16 p.m.
Police say the officer and his partner had just pulled over a black Jeep Liberty when the driver took off, and hit the officer.
The driver then fled with three other people in the vehicle. The suspects were found and arrested, according to police.
We're told the officer was taken to the hospital and is listed in temporary serious condition.
