DETROIT (WXYZ) - Two Detroit police officers put their own lives in jeopardy to save a man who drove onto shaky ice in the Detroit River.
It apparently was no accident.
We’re told the 31-year-old Detroit man plowed through a barrier in a suicide attempt at Erma Henderson Park on the city’s east side.
The officers went out on the ice to pull him to safety and took him to get help.
No other details have been released.
