(WXYZ) - Political consultant Sam Riddle calls Detroit politics a cesspool-- and he was a player. Riddle is talking for the first time since moving from home confinement to parole.
He went to federal prison in 2010 after taking bribes with former Detroit City Councilmember Monica Conyers. She is also out of prison and in home confinement.
No one answered the door at the house she shares with her sons and husband Congressman John Conyers. Riddle talks about public corruption and the Kilpatrick corruption case. He also has an apology for Detroit.
What the video player above for the full interview of Riddle talking with 7 Action News Reporter Jim Kiertzner.
