OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has set up a program to donate leftover Halloween candy to American troops overseas.
"Treats for Troops is a great way parents can participate in a community service project with their kids while showing our troops we support them back home," said Sheriff Bouchard.
The program began Thursday November 1 st, and ends today at 4pm.
They are accepting wrapped candy, excluding chocolate, at the following locations:
