Social networking site connects students and teachers

(WXYZ) - Social networking site Edmodo is hosted a virtual conference for educators Wednesday.

Jennifer Bond from Glengary Elementary School in Commerce Township sat down with Action News This Morning to explain the value of social media in education and to talk about the event.

The creators of Edmodo say the the web site provides classrooms an easy way to connect and collaborate, offering a real-time platform to exchange ideas, share content, and access homework, grades and school notices.
