(WXYZ) - One worker was killed and another injured in an explosion at the Dexter Water Treatment Plant on Monday afternoon.
Chopper 7 was over the scene shortly after it happened.
The workers were apparently knocked from the top of the two story structure.
The 7 Action News team has learned that the man who was injured in the fatal blast is in stable condition.
We're told both of the workers were conscious when they were med-flighted from the plant. One of the workers later died at the hospital.
The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department was called to the scene on the Huron River.
