(WXYZ) - This Saturday, January 12, will mark the three year anniversary of Joann Romain's mysterious disappearance and her family is putting up billboards in hopes on generating new leads.

The Grosse Pointe Woods woman was last seen on the shoreline of Lake St. Clair across from St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe Farms.

Her body was discovered two months later in a channel of the Detroit River. Initially, police believed her death was a suicide, but her family has believed all along that foul play was involved.

If you know anything about Romain's death, you're asked to call 888-INVESTIGATE.
