(WXYZ) - UPDATE: Pug has been found: wxyz.com/dpp/news/police-find-stolen-dearborn-pug

Friends for the Dearborn Animal Shelter are asking for the public’s help to locate a stolen pug.

Sandy Boulton, public relations director for Friends for the Dearborn Animal Shelter, says the pug was taken from his yard on Wednesday morning in Dearborn on the corner of Dartmouth and Dudley.

The owner describes the suspect as a woman in her 30s with dark hair driving a black four-door older model car.

Gus is a 7-year-old male pug with a black and tan coat. His family is worried because they say the pug needs daily medication.

If you have any information on the missing dog, call the family at 313.282.1388.
