(WXYZ) - Gov. Rick Snyder has ordered flags to be lowered across Michigan today to honor a fallen marine.

Marine Sgt. Justin M. Hansen of Traverse City died during combat in Afghanistan last week.

The 26-year-old was assigned to the 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Visitation for Sgt. Hansen will take place tomorrow at Kingsley High School where he graduated in 2003.
