(WXYZ) - What is usually a bustling Friday evening at Detroit Metro Airport is quiet. Dozens of flights have been canceled because of the snow storm on the East Coast.
Airport officials say there have been 81 departure cancelations and 61 arrival cancelations on Friday.
Most of those were caused by the storm affecting the east, not the snow that Metro Detroit received Friday morning.
The local snowstorm caused delays, largely because of icing issues. Those have since been cleared.
