DETROIT (WXYZ) - A Florida man is making plans to leave his old life behind and reinvent himself.
29-year-old Shane Butcher owns a video game chain known as "R U Game?" along with his wife, but he's ready to leave it all behind.
Butcher has put his three video game stores, 2 homes, cars and various other items up for auction on E-bay, totaling $3.5 million.
Looking from the outside-in, it may seem like Butcher is in some sort of financial trouble, but he says all his goods are paid off.
He simply wants to start his life from scratch and try something different. Butcher has plans to travel the world after the auction is over. After he's done sightseeing across the globe, he'll return home to start a second career.
