STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich (WXYZ) - A news conference is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4 to announce when Freedom Hill Ampitheatre will open back up.

At that time you can also expect to find out what acts will be kicking off the 2013 concert series.

The concert series is scheduled to begin in June.

The venue, located in Sterling Heights closed down in 2009 due to budget issues.

Freedom Hill will also host the Stars and Stripes Festival, which was held in Mount Clemens for the past six years.
