FERNDALE, MIch. (WXYZ) - A fundraiser in Ferndale was held Friday to help a police officer touched by tragedy.

People gathered at Rosie O'Grady's to support the family of Officer John Cleveland.

He and his wife Jodie lost their 3-year-old daughter, Olivia, when a drunk driver hit them in June.

Jodie and the couple's two other kids were hurt and the fundraiser will help them with mounting medical bills.

Donations to "friends of the Cleveland family" can also be made at Credit Union One.
