(WXYZ) - We love our gadgets, but the mounts on the market to keep them in one spot while we’re driving or cooking can be cumbersome.
The eleMount is being marketed as the easiest way to mount mobile devices in cars and other places.
The gadget has blown through its $10,000 fundraising goal on its Kickstarter fundraising page.
The sleek design of the eleMount is only one of its appealing qualities—the pedestals have polyurethane pads on each end that can stick to most surfaces.
The best part: the company says the sticky substance does not leave any residue and the pads are pressure sensitive, so the more pressure you apply, the better the product will stick.
The video of the eleMounts in action is equally as impressive—holding even an iPad and other tablets with ease.
Another neat feature: the base of the eleMount unscrews—allowing users to connect it to a tripod for more professional smartphone photos and videos.
On Kickstarter, eleMount raised more than $200,000. They retail for around $70.
