ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Giant fungi alert!
A giant puffball mushroom was found on a lawn in Rochester Hills.
The Key family who discovered the 2-pound mushroom says it looked unusual sitting in the grass.
“We looked out the window and there was some very bizarre looking thing in the front yard, it really didn’t look like anything natural. I mean, kind of lunar looking, like it fell out of the air or something,” said Glenn Key.
Even though it is safe to eat, the Keys say they don’t have any plans of serving it up at the dinner table.
