DETROIT (WXYZ) - GM and Isuzu are recalling 258,000 SUVs in the U.S. and Canada.

The recall affects the Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 97-X.

All recalled vehicles are from either the 2006 or 2007 model years and were sold in 20 U.S. States, Washington D.C. and Canada.

The companies have learned that short circuits in the power window and door lock switches could cause fires.

GM does not know of any injuries but there have been 28 fires reported to the company.
