GMA weather anchor Sam Champion is engaged to marry boyfriend Rubem Robierb

(WXYZ) - ABC News has announced that 'Good Morning America' weather anchor Sam Champion is engaged and plans to marry boyfriend Rubem Robierb later this year.
The network says Champion and Robierb met through mutual friends in Miami, Florida, where Robierb lives.
Sam Champion has been with ABC News since 2006 and worked with WABC in New York for 18 years before that.
Rubem Robierb is an fine artist and photographer. A bio on his professional website says he was born in Brazil in 1976.
A message posted on Good Morning America's website said, "Tune in to 'GMA' Monday to hear from Sam about his happy announcement."
