(WXYZ) - The holidays are over, the tree is in the trash and the ornaments are stocked away.
You try to find room to put your new clothes, furniture or electronics but there is just simply is nowhere to put them. It’s time, the thing everyone has been putting off...time to clean house. But you don’t have to throw everything away, you can donate to one of many Grace Centers of Hope Thrift Stores. This time of year is when donations are desperately needed by the Grace Centers of Hope Thrift Stores.
Named best-managed nonprofit for 2012 by Crain’s Detroit Business, Grace Centers of Hope has been helping homeless men, women and children return to mainstream society since 1942. For the past 15 years, Grace Centers of Hopes’ thrift stores have collected and sold thousands of high quality, gently used merchandise turning one person’s give aways into another’s gain.
The four locations offer assistance in making a donation quick and easy, even coming to your home to pick up bulk donations in the Tri-County area. Grace Centers of Hope not only take clothes, furniture and household goods but also large items such as TV’s, kitchen appliances (i.e. stoves, refrigerators) and lawn equipment.
