(WXYZ) - One of the region's best known women's shelters was busy filling its piggy bank Thursday night.
Some 400 people showed up at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester to raise money for HAVEN which provides shelter and programs for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
This is the 25th year for the "Promenade of Hope", which featured an auction of items like Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw tickets and sports memorabilia.
Our friend and former co-worker Diana Lewis was in attendance, continuing her long-time support.
Organizers predict Thursday night’s event will take in $300,000.
