(WXYZ) - Your health insurance company may be putting money back in your pockets thanks to a recent overhaul requiring $13.9 million in rebates.

An average of $214 will be given to 65,000 Michigan families from their insurance companies, by August 1.

The rebates come under the Obama Administration's Affordable Care Act.

Rebates will come one of three ways:

*By mail

*On the debit/credit card used for insurance payment

*Reduced future premiums.

Contact your insurance company to find out if you're eligible.
