(WXYZ) - Parents, did you know pediatricians are recommending that your sons be vaccinated against the Human Papilloma Virus, better known as HPV?
As of this month, HPV has landed on the official list of recommended vaccines.
While the sexually transmitted disease can cause cervical cancer in women, doctors say vaccinating boys can help stop the spread.
Doctors say boys and girls should receive the vaccine when they are eleven or twelve.
