(WXYZ) - Doctors at Ohio State University say they've witnessed a breakthrough in the fight against Leukemia.
900 patients took part in a trial of an experimental cancer medication. Doctors say the Leukemia in all of the patients went into remission. And in many of the cases the Leukemia stayed away.
Doctors say the drug works like a light switch by turning off the power to the cancer cell, and it stays off. The drug causes the cells to regress and stop growing in the patient.
