(WXYZ) - Get your resumes ready for the Hired in Detroit Job Fair which will be held on Wednesday, September 25.
Participating companies from around the metro area are looking to hire 500 job seekers for a wide array of positions including management, engineering, retail and skilled trade.
Candidates are encouraged to dress professionally. The job fair is free for all job seekers.
The job fair will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Southfield from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Candidates who want to participate can submit their resume at JobFairGiant.com for early interviewing.

When he was released from prison, Nelson Mandela went on a tour in the U.S. but he only visited 11 cities. Detroit was one of them. He spoke at Tiger Stadium on June 28, 1990.
