CLYDE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - A man from Port Huron called the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office after discovering a human skull in Mill Creek at the Beard Hills State Game Area in Clyde Township.
Frank Kozlowski was wading in the water looking for fresh water clams when he found the skull. Kozlowski says he reached under a log and felt something unusual.
He pulled the skull onto shore and called the Sheriff's Office.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Dive Team was called to the scene. They began a search and located other bones in the water.
The skull and bones will be turned over to the medical examiner as part of the investigation.
