A local judge lost her attempt to disqualify the entire state supreme court bench from overseeing the disciplinary case against her.

The 7 Action News Investigators broke the story about  Inkster District Court Judge Sylvia James who has been accused of embezzling court funds.

It's the latest chapter in the case of the controversial judge, who said all seven justices are biased because they put her on paid administrative leave in April following an audit of court funds.

The audit found that Judge James misused court funds and hired a family member who received several raises. An order issued Thursday says that each judge denies having any bias against Judge James.
