INKSTER, MICH (WXYZ) - Inkster Police are searching for a gunman who was involved in a triple shooting early Saturday morning.
Police say that around midnight, all 3 victims were in a car in the neighborhood of John Daly, south of Michigan Avenue.
It was around that time that 911 received a call that 2 people had been shot on John Daly street, near Penn.
Almost immediately afterward, another call to 911 tipped officers that a third person had been shot just around the corner on Kitch Street.
Police believe that the suspect opened fire on all three people with an assault rifle while they were in the car at the corner of John Daly and Penn. Then he ran off.
The victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to fully recover.
The suspect is believed to be about 5'6", or 5'7". He was wearing all black.
Inkster police ask that if you have any information, call them at 313-563-9850, or call CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
