DETROIT (WXYZ) - It's something we all have to do if we drive, but filling up is getting more frustrating as gas at some stations is more than $4 a gallon.
"It's ridiculous" says Brittany Bradley, who adds that car-pooling may be the way to go in the future so everyone can pitch it to pay the price.
According to AAA, the price for a gallon of gas has gone up almost every day for a month.
The reasons? The experts say the price of crude is up and some refineries have shut down either for maintenance or the change-over to a summer grade.
We found some drivers are just putting in the minimum to get by.
Renault Turner said, "I will put ten in here and then go across town to where it's 25 cents cheaper."
Another driver at the same station said she was doubtful he would find it that much less.
