MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Firefighters are trying to determine what started a fire at a Madison Heights apartment complex late Tuesday night.
The fire broke out at The Heights Apartments located on 13 Mile between Dequindre and John R.
Firefighters say everyone was able to make it out of the building that caught fire.
It's still unknown how many units were affected, but the firefighters say the building was severely damaged.
Several neighboring fire departments also helped battle the blaze.
The Red Cross is helping those who were displaced by the fire.
