(WXYZ) - In all the excitement that comes with a postseason victory, sometimes a reporter may forget who they're talking to.
That was the case Sunday night after the Red Wings beat the Ducks 3-2 in Game 7 of their Stanley Cup Playoff first round series.
Amid the celebration in the Red Wings' visiting locker room, a reporter asked Henrik Zetterberg a question -- about Henrik Zetterberg.
Listen closely to the video player above, and you can hear the reporter make the error.
Reporter: Talk about your captain a little bit, Zetterberg. He kind of rose to the occasion when you guys needed him most.. Game 6 the other night kind of set the tone.
Zetterberg: (confused) About?
Zetterberg: Talk about myself? (laughs).
Zetterberg: You should ask someone else about that I think.
As all good captains and leaders would, Henrik laughed off the comment and moved on to the next one. It's hard to imagine any comment capable of shaking the calm and collected Zetterberg after he just led his team to the second round of The Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Thankfully the reporter doesn't show his face or say his name on camera so he can forever remain anonymous! Don't worry, we've ALL made silly mistakes before!
