(WXYZ) - A new study of airline foods is available to help passengers know the best and worst choices on the airline menu.

DietDetective.com rated the best "Calorie Bargains" and "Calorie Rip-offs" at 35,000 feet.

For Delta Airlines, researchers recommend the Breakfast snack containing light yogurt and a fresh banana.  When it comes to snack boxes, Delta's Travel Treat gets a favorable rating because of its tuna and raisins and also the fact that its low in calories.

If you fly United, the Tapas gets high scores for its almonds, olives, hummus and bruschetta.

United's top-selling snack box "The Lite" is also highly rated at only 430 calories.  For flights longer than 3 hours, United's Turkey sandwich at 600 calories is a good bet.

On JetBlue and Southwest, experts suggest you try the nuts which contain protein and good fat.

And the survey ranks American Airlines' Cheese & Cracker snack tray as a good bet.
