GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - The 7 Action News Investigators have learned that the Wayne County Prosecutor is issuing investigative subpoenas in the Jane Bashara murder investigation.
Investigative subpoenas are typically issued to witnesses in order to have them provide statements under oath. Legal experts say it is a common tool used in major investigations to help build a case.
No arrests have been made in the murder of 56-year-old Jane Bashara, whose body was found in the back of her Mercedes Benz on Detroit’s east side last month.
Police sources tell 7 Action News that Bashara’s husband, Bob Bashara, is the only person of interest in the murder.
