(WXYZ) - While her husband is facing tough questions under oath, Carlita Kilpatrick is settling in to a new home in Texas.
The family of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick announced earlier this month that they had to downsize from the million dollar mansion they were renting in ritzy Southlake, Texas.
The Detroit News first reported that Mrs. Kilpatrick and their three sons have relocated to an “elegant” 3,300 square foot home in Grand Prairie, Texas. The four-bedroom two-story home was listed for rent for $2100 a month.
Grand Prairie is about 30 miles south of Southlake, and it’s in between Dallas and Fort Worth.
