Man left with half a haircut when he allegedly stabs victim with the scissors

STAMFORD, Connecticut - Bad hair day? One man is claiming self defense after he allegedly stabbed a man while getting a haircut.

Police say the stabbing happened while 20-year-old David Davis was getting a haircut in a Stamford, Conn. Apartment Tuesday afternoon.

Davis claims the victim approached him in an aggressive manner, so to protect himself he grabbed a pair of scissors and slashed the victim in the back.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries to the right side of his upper back, and has since been released from the hospital.

Davis was taken into custody next door and the involved scissors were also located. Davis is facing charges of assault in the first degree and being held on $5,000 bond.
